wow! pretty good! all the samples and instruments work together pretty well! i would have liked to see a little more variation in chord progressions and drum patterns. also, i think that the clap could have had an additional layer of a snare underneath.
like a lot of others have said, this would work really well as background music with the chill vibe it gives off.
while nothing necessarily "stands out" about this track, it has a bunch of good aspects to it. i'm looking forward to hearing more!
it's pretty cool! the end part is super distorted and cuts off fast. i would have liked to see it play out properly. i also really like how clean the drums are in the mix!
this sounds really clean and the ambiance mixes perfectly with the instruments.
maybe some more sub-bass, a little more high end on the snare, and a little less decay on the plucked melody in the beginning (it created some bad dissonance), otherwise the music elements in itself are basically perfect. i love the pads and the plucked melody. usually melodies seem to be your weakness and you nailed it this time.
maybe you could have cut off the ending so there wasn't a 10 second silence at the end.
anyway i love it <3
I could prove you wrong from the melodic standpoint. However i do agree when talking about later releases.
Melodies haven't been the focus for them since i have wanted to focus on the sound design for a long time. So i had to pay with something.
There will be more melodic tracks on the way, however i doubt that they'll fit to the lineup i have for 2018.
like it a lot!
very clean and the mixing/mastering is really good, especially with the ambiance and growls.
as i said in my yt comment, maybe use something else for the random piano stabs and use the piano as an arp with lots of resonance.
overall i love it and i think this is your best so far! :)
I love this a lot! The atmosphere the track gives off is really cool. I assume that the purpose of this collection is to experiment with themes and atmospheres because each of the songs in it has their own unique atmosphere and sound they try to pull off (and they do it well.)
The buildup and "non-drop" parts sound great and I don't really have any issues with them, except that maybe some instruments clash.
During the drop, some of the basses, growls, etc could be touched up a bit. They should sound "wider" and have more sub-bass to them. They don't feel that deep and low and don't take up as much sound as I would think is necessary to pull DnB off. They also clash slightly with each other and it doesn't feel that clean or polished.
Other slight issues that I have:
~I maybe would have liked to hear 2 drops. The non-drop (i don't know what to call it at this point) takes up over half the song which makes it kind of boring. Making more of the song intense and cutting some of the sections shorter would maybe make it more exciting.
~As usual, some of the drums sound a little bit off. It's better than before, but with a theme like this, it might be better to use more atmospheric and realistic drums that resonate.
Hope this helps! This sounds great :)
This is great! The sound blends smoothly and the instruments sound great together.
The only complaints I have are:
-it's a little repetitive
-bass isn't hard enough. Maybe it's just because I like dubstep and stuff, but some cool growls and sound effects could liven this up.
So, yeah. I like it a lot.
-MiXX
Great! Would have loved to have the bass be more prominent in the mix, though.
Loved it :)
Nice! I rated 4.
The non-drop parts are very well made. They sound really high quality. The only complaint is with panning at around 1:00. The parts that go directly left and right would sound a little better if they swept from ear to ear and not jumping from ear to ear. It probably should have been a little quieter, too.
The drop is a little odd. The growls are very repetitive. They sound decent but they do the same thing over and over.
Dropped a star for the drop and growls and half a star for the weird panning thing.
Otherwise this is really nice!
If you listen the original then the panning wasn't up to me. I could've fixed that but I didn't think that it would be worth messing around.
I was kinda lazy at the drop cause I didn't have ideas on how to make it sound any better than it already was.
Thanks for honest opinions tough.
