i think it's pretty cool! the mix sounds kind of muddy, though. maybe there needs to be more high end frequencies as it seems very mid-low end range throughout the song. the beat itself sounds really nice, though! :))

Tagiito responds:

thanks!

i really think the main problem with this isn't the vocals per se but just the... intonation of them. some of the pitches with the sung "chords" make you cringe, and when there are two voices at once (which might be a little too stereo separated for my taste), they are too different to make it as enjoyable as possible. lastly, i don't think that the vocals are mixed well with the instrumental, which i really like, actually.
other than that no real complaints.

NeoAlchemist247 responds:

Thank you for your input.

EDIT: This song is mixed as it is because of the low amount of equipment and software available at the time. If I could make one wish regarding this song, it would be that people ignore the quality and the minor things, and listen to the words.

It was originally written on my birthday. "Ohhh can you save me" used to be "Ohhh happy birthday" actually, but we deemed THAT too cringe and I rewrote it.

If you couldn't enjoy it, I hope that future peoples can, thanks to this exchange.

it might just be my personal opinion, but some of the notes and rhythms sound very... off. the instruments all sound great, but some of the, i'd say almost experimental, rhythms and passing notes could use some fine-tuning. als, it's quite chaotic. if the instruments faded in and out as they played and if some of the volumes were reduced i think this would make for a more pleasant listening experience. otherwise, it's decent. :)

Deltakai responds:

You are absolutely and 10000% correct. No personal opinions here, they are all valid and objective criticisms. There is much more to be said, but these are definitely the core issues at hand.

this sounds really clean and the ambiance mixes perfectly with the instruments.
maybe some more sub-bass, a little more high end on the snare, and a little less decay on the plucked melody in the beginning (it created some bad dissonance), otherwise the music elements in itself are basically perfect. i love the pads and the plucked melody. usually melodies seem to be your weakness and you nailed it this time.
maybe you could have cut off the ending so there wasn't a 10 second silence at the end.
anyway i love it <3

Ramn0 responds:

I could prove you wrong from the melodic standpoint. However i do agree when talking about later releases.
Melodies haven't been the focus for them since i have wanted to focus on the sound design for a long time. So i had to pay with something.
There will be more melodic tracks on the way, however i doubt that they'll fit to the lineup i have for 2018.

Nice! I rated 4.
The non-drop parts are very well made. They sound really high quality. The only complaint is with panning at around 1:00. The parts that go directly left and right would sound a little better if they swept from ear to ear and not jumping from ear to ear. It probably should have been a little quieter, too.
The drop is a little odd. The growls are very repetitive. They sound decent but they do the same thing over and over.

Dropped a star for the drop and growls and half a star for the weird panning thing.
Otherwise this is really nice!

Ramn0 responds:

If you listen the original then the panning wasn't up to me. I could've fixed that but I didn't think that it would be worth messing around.
I was kinda lazy at the drop cause I didn't have ideas on how to make it sound any better than it already was.

Thanks for honest opinions tough.

Good! The main synth you use in the drop sounds a little off with the attack. The rhythms were just a tad weird. Other than that, Good!

EruptionMusic responds:

ah thanks for the advice :)

I like. Now all you need are some vocals and you're really to be on the radio

EruptionMusic responds:

haha thanks funny thing, is this had vocals for my english project. they were the daniel tts voice tho lul... biscuit man. hero project. dont ask XD

I really like this! Just a few nitpicks, though.

The sounds in the drop sort of cut out and there's a somewhat noticeable space in between growls. Additionally, I feel like the guitar lead could either be more modulated or just a little more intense, with maybe some faster notes.

Otherwise I like this :D

Ramn0 responds:

I agree with this. Spaces kinda bother me too to be honest. But i wanted to make my basses as clear as possible to avoid muddy echoes.
But about guitars i had no idea how i could make them more intense. I must confess that i was a bit scared to go full rouge with modulations. I wanted sounds to be as clean as possible.

This sounds great! It's just that it's repetitive and nothing sticks out much. Otherwise, great! I hate to say this, since I don't really like rap music, but maybe if someone rapped to this, it might sound that much better and make up for the drawbacks. Keep up the good work!

SlyceCaik responds:

I actually felt the same way while making/releasing it
Thanks for the feedback!

I don't know if it's a part of the Trance genre, but the off-sync timings of different instruments isn't necessarily enjoyable for me. Don't know if it was supposed to be arpeggio but it's not really pleasant to the ears. However, the catchy tune is really good. Good job.

Iosun responds:

I made this on my phone so don't expect all that good stuff from it.
And like all of my songs, the genre is a little ambiguous.
